This year, unlike others, Samsung seems determined to have its smartphones dominate the market, at least in the high range. It is something that is totally at your fingertips. As you remember, recently, the Korean company introduced the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, their bet for this year, at least until they launch the Galaxy Note 8.
Now, we have learned that Samsung has received an astronomical figure in the reserves of both smartphones. Something that speaks very well of the success that the new flagship of the Korean company can have, if they turn out to be as incredible as they seem.
This 2017 Samsung decided not to present the Galaxy S8 during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, something that led one to think that it would lose prominence against the LG G6. But apparently the opposite has happened, since, as you can read in Android Authority, the Samsung Galaxy S8 have reached the reserved figure by 550,000. Something incredible if we consider that it was presented just two weeks ago.
This is more than double the number of reservations received by the Galaxy Note7, and five times more than those the Galaxy S7 received. Something that augurs very good results of the Galaxy S8 in the market.
The question that most raise about these smartphones is the autonomy, it seems that their screens of 5.8 and 6.2 inches at 2K resolution will swallow the respective batteries of 3,000 mAh and 3,500 mAh too quickly. Although it will depend, to a great extent, on the processor.
At the moment we will have to wait a few months to decide if it is the mobile of the year or not, since it is usual that the first units contain bugs that are fixed with the subsequent software updates. But, still, the Galaxy S8 points towards a good way.
