Earlier we mentioned the OnePlus 3T as one of the smartphones that regularly provides Google’s monthly security patches, the Chinese company’s flagship has also become one of the first smartphones to be able to officially enjoy the new Google Assistant.
Through its Twitter profile, the company themselves annouced that Google Assistant is available for the OnePlus 3T, while remembering that the virtual assistant presented in the past Google I / O can be installed in the OnePlus 3. In this way both terminals become the first smartphones to enjoy their functions outside the Google ecosystem.

If we look back we can remember how it was Google itself who announced that Google Assistant would begin to reach more Android terminals that were not their Google Pixel or Google Nexus. This allows an increasing number of users to have a first contact with the evolution of artificial intelligence applied to other previous products of the company as Google Now and Google Now on Tap.
It’s been less than three weeks since we received word that the Google Assistant was beginning to reach the OnePlus 3 globally. Now it is the OnePlus 3T that can, with a system update, make use of the conversational technology that learns from our habits to provide timely and accurate information.
Today, OnePlus announced that its two high-end smartphones should have installed the virtual assistant of the Internet giant. Users of the OnePlus 3T (who prefer their phone language other than English) should change the language of the system to English to be able make use of Google Assistant, since the company has not provided more details about it.
As we read on Twitter, the deployment of the new feature is not reaching all users alike since although there are some owners of OnePlus 3 and 3T who have been lucky to receive the Google Assistant.
