The unlimited access we have today on the internet, can be a problem in some occasions. It is quite difficult to control all the content of the web pages, and on many occasions we encounter things that are not supposed to be there.

Today we tell you the case of a famous adult content application that seems to be infecting multiple devices. If you consult this type of content, then pay attention to this article, since we are going to tell you what is happening.

The famous porn portal Pornhub was never been allowed to upload their application to the Google Play Store, because the Google store does not allow such applications. This allows the store to be much more secure, but as in Android you can download APKs externally. Due to installations of some of these external APKs sometimes unexpected things happen.

As we read in Digital Trends there are several fake applications posing as Pornhub and infecting phones at a fairly fast pace. This application blocks the phone and asks for a ransom for their release.

When you download some of these fake applications, you install ransomware that blocks the phones and asks for about 100 euros in bitcoins to stop the infection. If you are infected by any such application then we recommend to eliminate it immediately, instead of paying for the rescue. If the terminal is still infected simply do a factory reset.

Thanks to the security of Android, if your mobile does not have root permissions the application can not be installed at the root of the system, and with a reset you can finish it quite easily. We always have to be careful what we download and install, but especially in the case of adult content websites you should never download anything.
