Lenovo with the Moto G and Moto Z is behaving very well in terms of upgrades. Their devices, usually are always the first to update, after Google updates their Nexus. We already told you that the Moto G4 and G4 Plus were already upgraded to Android 7, but it still needs to reach all of the Moto Z range.

We already told you months ago that the Moto G4 and Moto Z were officially receiving Android 7.0 Nougat, but we could not give dates of when since the company had not decided on it. We are quite surprised that, as we mentioned before, the Moto G4 which are less powerful devices than the Moto Z Play are already being updated.
Today we have been able to find out that Android 7 for Moto Z Play is already being tested, which means that it will arrive soon. The release date of this update should be in March, one month later than the Moto G4.
We are surprised that Lenovo’s one of the most powerful mobile phones is the last to upgrade. We will see how Lenovo tries to fix this and how the update works, since surely, the users of this mobile will not be so happy to see that a mobile of the same company and that costs half is updated much before Moto Z.
