Square Enix will launch a new television series based on Final Fantasy XIV in which the massive role-playing game will be the central axis in the relationship between a father and a son. As explained in the portal Kotaku, it is a story based on a real fact and inspired by a blog called The Father of Light, name that will be taken for the production of this series.
Titled Final Fantasy XIV Father of Light, the series based on real events will be starring Japanese actors Yudai Chiba and Ren Oosugi and will tell how Final Fantasy XIV forever changed the relationship between a father and a son.
One of the most striking features of the project, which will begin its broadcast next April, is to mix real image parts and Square Enix’s own role-playing game to explain the present and peculiar relationship.
In this way and after receiving a PlayStation 4 as a gift from his wife, progenitor and firstborn will begin to play the title of Square Enix together assiduously, helping each other in the virtual world but without knowing both the real identity of his playmate.
Unfortunately, its release on our borders seems difficult. It will be another few weeks to know new details of the curious production.
Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood will be the second expansion of this successful MMORPG. Thanks to it, we will be able to continue advancing in the main plot of the game and enjoy numerous new features, such as a completely new region, the possibility of swimming and diving, explore new dungeons, fight new types of enemies and even unlock new playable classes, such as Iconic Red Mage. Its launch is scheduled for next June 20 on PC and PlayStation 4
