Gameband is a smart watch that aims to target gamers. Despite the huge variety of smartwatches we have at our disposal in the market, we had not yet seen a model specifically aimed at gamers. This is the case of Gameband, a smart watch that seeks to catch the attention of regular players and looking for funding on Kickstarter.
As its creators say, it is the most powerful smart watch on the market. If we focus on some of its technical features, the smartwatch features a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, 400 mAh battery, microSD slot up to 128GB and a USB 3.0 type C port. It also has 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and mounts a screen of 1.6 inches with a resolution of 320×320 pixels.
As you can imagine, one of its main points are the games that we can use in the clock. For this, Gameband will allow us to access a platform from which to manage all kinds of titles, such as Terraria, Pong or Asteroids (of course, optimized for the clock display). Finally, we take the opportunity to highlight that it is compatible with both iOS and Android.
At this point we cannot deny that the Gameband has caught the attention of many people. In fact, with just over a week to the end of the campaign, its creators have managed to raise more than 30,000 of the $75,000 they needed. As for its price, the Gameband will be marketed for $199 from September 2017.
