Google has updated its popular Gboard keyboard for iPhone and iPad with support for the latest iOS 10 emoticons, voice dictation and new languages.
The keyboard is usually used as a replacement for the standard iOS keyboard thanks to its efficiency, as Gboard allows you to slide your key finger into key when writing with unbeatable results.
Another key to GOS’s success in the iOS App Store is its compatibility with 3D Touch, its integrated Google search, and support for emojis.
Gboard was born in Google almost a year ago as an application that allows searching and sending information, GIFs, emojis and others directly from the keyboard. Now they update the iPhone version, and they want to reach more people by expanding their use in 15 new languages.
We can now use Gboard in Catalan, Spanish in Latin America, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Greek, Polish, Romanian, Swedish, Hungarian, Malay, Russian and Turkish. We just have to access the “Languages” section> “Add language”, and specify the one we want to use. We can also use the latest iOS 10 emojis as well as show the animations of the famous Google doodle.
Every day that we have a nice doodle (like yesterday, which shows an animation with the discovery of the planets presented yesterday by NASA), we will see an animated G indicating that there is pending content, so that by clicking on it we see more information on the subject.
They have also added voice writing, so we can dictate messages directly to Gboard by pressing the microphone button in the space bar.
It is important to have the latest version of the application installed, so go to iTunes and check that you already have Gboard 1.3 on your device.
