Guillermo del Toro has No Creative Voice in ‘Death Stranding’

In the last gala of The Game Awards, the creative Hideo Kojima showed the world a new trailer of his game ‘Death Stranding’, exclusive of PS4 during some eighteen months and that counts on the support of Guerrilla Games to offer its engine to realize his creative vision.

In the trailer you could see that the actor Mads Mikkelsen is going to lend his face to the possibly one of the villains of the game, as well as the Mexican director Guillermo del Toro.

The presence of Guillermo del Toro in the game of Hideo Kojima comes after the project of ‘Silent Hills’, in which both were involved in the creative section; It was canceled, and some wonder if it will be a collaboration between the two beyond lending face. In an interview with IGN, del Toro denied those claims and claims that he is only a facial actor on this occasion thanks to a call from Kojima to ask him to appear in ‘Death Stranding’ and tell the basic ideas of the character.

Del Toro insists that the whole game is Hideo Kojima’s work on a creative level, and his presence is limited to encouraging him and letting him be scanned and photographed in his face during long photographic sessions to be part of Death Stranding.
