With the yoga 720, Lenovo adds a new top model in its 2-in-1 laptop series. In addition, new tablets are presented for children and business people with Android and Windows 10.
Lenovo has presented a series of new devices at the Mobile World Congress. The 2-in-1 product line Yoga continues with the Yoga 720. Like its predecessors, the Yoga 720 can be used as laptop or tablet and convinces with strong performance data at a comparatively low price.
The latest yoga generation includes processors up to Intel Core i7, up to 16 GB RAM, 1 TB HDD or 512 GB SSD, 4K screen resolution and is available in 13 or 15-inch versions. In both sizes are a digital pen and a fingerprint sensor on board. The 15-inch version, however, contains a stronger graphics card, namely a Nvidia GTX 1050 compared to Intel HD Graphics. The Lenovo Yoga 720 in 13-inch version will be sold from April 8, according to The Verge from $860, the 15-inch version starting at 1100 dollars.
Android tablets Tab 4 and Tab 4 Plus
In addition, Lenovo has new tablets on offer. The Tab 4 and Tab 4 Plus run on Android and are aimed at a price-conscious people. Both tablets are available in 8 and 10 inch versions. The Tab 4 provides 1280 by 800 pixel resolution, Snapdragon 425 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB of memory. The Tab 4 Plus provides 1920×1200 pixels, Snapdragon 625, 3 or 4GB of RAM, and up to 64GB of memory. In addition, a fingerprint scanner is on board.
For both tablets, Kids Packs (impact-proof cover, screen protector) and Productivity Packs (case, Bluetooth keyboard) are available. Table 4 is available from May at 149 dollars (10 inches). The tab 4 plus costs from 199 or 249 dollars, Engadget reports.
For fans of Windows 10, Lenovo brings the Miix 320 tablet. This has a 1920 x 1200 pixel display, an Atom X5 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of memory. The tablet can also be supplied with an optional LTE module. The price for the base model is $200.
