The company we once knew as Motorola has more and more projects in mind. Only a month ago the company introduced the Moto G5 and G5 Plus at the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona, it seems that it is now preparing its next bet for the mid-low range, the Moto E4.
Since its first launch back in May 2014, the Moto E line has been well-loved by foot users who do not need a tremendous smartphone for their day-to-day lives. This device presented at the time a great alternative for any person who was not willing to spend more. However, it is now the turn of the next member of the family, the expected Moto E4. We have already been able to know some details.
Through The Android Soul we have been able to take a look at the latest leak coming from the North American FCC certification agency, which has provided some details about the fourth-generation Moto E. The model name of the terminal is XT1723, which would be the successor to the old Moto E3 (XT1706).
As far as the characteristics of the Moto E4 are concerned, little is currently known. However, according to the recent FCC leak, it seems that the terminal will enjoy a battery of 4,000 mAh, 500 mAh more than its predecessor, which should provide exceptional durability in a smartphone that will not use a high resolution panel.
Another detail that indicates the leak is that there will be at least a 16GB model of presumably expandable internal storage. It is likely that the Moto E4 will be launched with Android 7.0 Nougat to the market, although this is something that we have not been able to confirm. Either way, we will keep you informed if new information about the phone is known.
