New Sony Xperia L1, possibly the smartest mid-range smartphone

Sony Xpreria

Sony surprised half the world during MWC 2017 presenting one of the best smartphones of the firm in a long time, the Xperia XZ Premium. This spectacular device even won the award for “Best New Smartphone” during the event held in Barcelona. However, the manufacturer does not forget the other sectors of the market.

Proof of this is the newly introduced Sony Xperia L1, a phone oriented towards the mid-low range with a price and design really attractive. Of course, according to what we have learned through PhoneArena, the internal specifications of the Xperia L1 are not high, however this does not mean that it is less interesting.

As we can see above, the hardware of the new Sony Xperia L1 is rather discreet. The terminal has a 5.5 inch IPS LCD screen with HD resolution. Possibly, this is one of the main negative aspects of the Xperia L1, since for these dimensions, 1280 x 720 can be short.

Under the hood is a processor signed by MediaTek, specifically the MT6737T four-core 1.4 GHz. The chip is accompanied by 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage expandable through microSD cards up to 256 GB memory.

The photographic section of the Sony Xperia L1 is in line with the rest of the phone, and it incorporates a 13 megapixel rear sensor while the front is 5 megapixels. In terms of battery, this device is 2,620 mAh. Fortunately, the version of Android that will come with this terminal will be 7.0 Nougat.

Apparently, the Sony Xperia L1 will be available in late April on most continents. Unfortunately, Sony has chosen not to announce the price of this mid-low-end device, although it has said that it will have an “affordable” cost.
