In recent days we received lots of information on the next Nintendo platform as a prelude to its official launch in just a couple of months. To all the information known as a result of its presentation at the beginning of January we must now add a statement that the company has offered its investors a statement in which it is detailed that the console will hit the market without a pack-in game included for demo.
No packs at sight
A few months ago, when the device was still a mystery, several sources said that the console would hit the market with several packs-in games, something that will not happen as the company said, which now extends this fact to the demos, which will not be either available as reported by Wall Street Journal Correspondent Takashi Mochizuki, who attended this conference with the company’s shareholders and major investors.
The company has assured that, thanks to this type of decisions, Nintendo Switch can be marketed at a market price close to 300 dollars, counting in the days of launch with important titles of the company like ‘The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild ‘, the last installment of the franchise devised by Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka.
Starting March 3, the console will be available for sale, being the first platform of the company to unify two of the devices such as Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. However, this future platform will not replace these older consoles immediately according to the latest statements offered by the main leaders of the company, who assure to continue supporting the platform with upcoming releases.
