Samsung has announced a few hours ago its new tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, which comes with some really powerful specifications that we are not used to this type of devices.
Starting with its design, it has a very stylized body with a weight of only 429 grams. The frames surrounding the screen are quite narrow, although they are thick enough to hold it well. The back is made of glass and the frame is made of metal.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 a 9.7 inch Super AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, implying a 4: 3 ratio. As with the Galaxy Note 7, the Galaxy Tab S3 screen is capable of playing back HDR content.
In the lower frame of the tablet we find a physical Start button that, in addition, performs the function of fingerprint reader. In the back we find a 13MP camera and on the front a 5MP camera.
Focusing on its hardware, the new tablet comes with a powerful processor Snapdragon 820, the same as the Galaxy S7 which comes with 4GB of RAM. It also comes with 32GB of storage, which of course is expandable by micro-SD with cards up to 256GB and with Android 7.0 Nougat.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 has a 6,000 mAh battery which also has a quick charge. It offers 12 hours of uninterrupted video playback.
An interesting new feature of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is that it comes at no additional cost with an S Pen stylus that offers features similar to those offered by this pointer in the Galaxy Note range. The tablet does not include any holes to store the S Pen when it is not in use and is not lost, nor is it caught magnetically.
Samsung has also announced that it has teamed up with Staedtler, the pencil maker, to launch a conventional Pen-like S Pen.
Samsung has not wanted to neglect the multimedia capabilities of the Galaxy Tab S3 and has provided this tablet with four AKG speakers, two on the top and two on the bottom that offer a clear and powerful sound. These speakers will be aware of the tablet’s orientation to deliver the best sound.
In addition, Samsung has designed a case with keyboard that connects to the tablet through a few pins, but that will have to be purchased separately.
