Samsung has confirmed the price and availability of its second-generation Gear 360. The new Gear 360 will go on sale tomorrow in the US market for $229, a price that is clearly lower than the price at which the original Gear 360 was launched last year, which was at $ 350.
Additionally, the new Gear 360 is lighter and thinner and also includes the possibility of making live video broadcasts and video recordings in 4K resolution which is the most outstanding news for many users.
The people that are interested in buying this latest model of Samsung Gear 360 can now purchase it either through physical stores or through the Internet at Best Buy and BestBuy.com, Amazon.com, AT & T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, US Cellular, Samsung.com and also through the ShopSamsung app.
Obviously, the new Gear 360 is fully compatible with the high-end phones that were launched by Samsung in recent years, including the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus. According to a press release, it will also support third party accessories through its universal mounting system and even offer an extended compatibility with Windows and Mac computers and iOS phones in addition to all the other features.
Additionally Samsung, as a promotional form allows acquiring it for $ 49 to those who buy a Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 Plus between May 25 and June 19, being possible while supplies last. Just to clarify, this promotional offer is only for the United States.
This way, all the people who want to enter the world of photos and videos at 360º, can do that as now Samsung makes it much easier and also much more complete. However, the only thing that remains for the company is to expand this new product in other markets.
