EVO 2017, the largest fighting games tournament in the world will be held at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas from July 14 to 16.
Cuellar and professional player Mike Ross have announced the list of games present in that competition. Despite its problems in 2016, ‘Street Fighter V’ will be the star game of the event, since the competitive level continues to function at full capacity. Meanwhile, the not yet released ‘Tekken 7’ will also be present, while we also see notable absences.
Eight confirmed games
‘Street Fighter V’ begins to solve its problems: the lack of content and the operation of online modes. Thanks to the addition of new modes such as challenges, new characters and an improved matchmaking system, it is now starting to look like the game we all hoped for. Of course, during those days of July the competition to the game of Capcom will catch a lot of attention.
Also will be protagonist ‘Tekken 7’, which participants will not have much time to train, since this week we have known that it comes to consoles and PC on June 2.
Another relatively recent release will be ‘Injustice 2’ which is in the list along with ‘Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2’, ‘Super Smash Bros’, ‘The King Of Fighters XIV’, ‘Blazblue Central Fiction’ and ‘Super Smash Bros. Melee’. However, among all the important absences, there will be games that still have a chance to be on the EVO.
The ninth game will come from a set of nine other titles, where you can invest money in an Indiegogo section and the proceeds will be destined for solidarity purposes. The games that can be voted are ‘Mortal Kombat XL’, ‘Skullgirls’, ‘Pokken Tournament’, ‘Nidhogg’, ‘Killer Instinct’, ‘Super Street Fighter II Turbo’, ‘Arms’, ‘Windjammers’ Is favorite, ‘Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3’.
