Jeff Kaplan already gave us a slight approximation of when the third season of ‘Overwatch’ would end, so that the end did not catch us by surprise. In a new post within the Blizzard forum, it has been detailed when this season will end and when the fourth will start, as well as the rewards we will receive for having participated.
As at the end of each season, Blizzard will reward all players who have completed positioning games with a graffiti, an icon and competition points based on the maximum range achieved in the season. As an extra, players who have managed to reach the top 500 will also receive an animated icon and graffiti.
Below we will give you a list of the competition points (CP) that we will receive according to our best rank of the season:
IH 1-1499 (Bronze): 100 CP
IH 1500-1999 (Silver): 200 CP
IH 2000-2499 (Gold): 400 CP
IH 2500-2999 (Platinum): 800 CP
IH 3000-3499 (Diamond): 1200 CP
IH 3500-3999 (Maestro): 2000 CP
IH 4000-5000 (Grand Master): 3000 CP
Thanks to these points of competition it will be easier to get the precious gold weapons, so if you are close to up the range, try it before the time runs out.
The end of season 3 will arrive on February 22 at 01:00 AM Peninsular time and the fourth season will begin on March 1 at the same time. At the moment there are no changes prepared for this fourth season, but it is possible that Blizzard announces some before it begins.
