‘The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’ has Option for a More Cinematic Experience

Although only a little less than a month is left before we can finally enjoy ‘The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’, there are still enough details to know about the game. Some are important to be known to guarantee a full gaming experience, without gouging on history that annoy surprise, but others are simple curiosities that do not affect the experience if they are known in advance.

One of these small details that remain to be detailed is the HUD option or interface options menu. By default, we have seen the “normal” configuration, that is, the default that will appear in the game if we do not touch any option. However, thanks to YouTuber Gehab, we have been able to know all the options available for this section.

Different interface for different players

The HUD or interface option can only be configured, either in “normal” mode, or in “pro” expert mode. The shared video shows only a few seconds of play with the interface in expert mode activated, but is enough to give us the idea of the experience this option offers once activated.

This mode hides information elements on the screen, such as the minimap or temperature gauge, showing only those elements that are essential for the player, such as health hearts.

Surely many will be thinking that this option is accessory, and it is, but it is the perfect proof that sometimes small details bring great results. The expert mode favors exploration by dispensing with a minimap, also offering a much more immersive and cinematic experience as there is much less information on the screen.

‘The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’ will go on sale on March 3, 2017 for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U platforms.
