The famous Evan Blass (@evleaks) filtering source has posted an image of the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus logo.
At this point there is no news that Samsung plans to launch two models of its new phone: Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, which will differ by the size of the screen: 5.7 inches vs. 6.2 inches.
Everything seems to indicate that on March 29 we will meet the Galaxy S8 Samsung, one of the most anticipated smartphones of the year, at an event to be held in New York.
Now, this new leak of Evan Blass has confirmed, through its logo, the name of the largest model of this new line: the Samsung Galaxy S8 +, which seems to signal the disappearance of the edge range.

Unfortunately the logo does not reveal any information about the phone, but at least confirms its existence. Perhaps most remarkable is that Samsung could have abandoned the term “edge” of the name since, according to rumors, both variants will have curved screens on the sides, so it is not necessary to differentiate this fact. For the first time since the launch of the Galaxy S6, the South Korean firm would have decided to forget the line of edge devices.
In this new generation, Samsung does not intend to distinguish their terminals as to whether they incorporate curved screen or not, but rather by their size, which almost confirms the absence of a Samsung Galaxy S8 flat screen.
On the other hand, today we have learned that the new virtual assistant which will arrive with the Galaxy S8, known as Bixby, will be based on S Voice and not on Viv Labs, the artificial intelligence company that Samsung acquired.
Finally, it is necessary to comment that this will not be the only internal revolution in the Galaxy S line, because with its panels of 5.8 and 6.2 inches, the Galaxy S8 will become the devices with the largest screen size in history of this range.
