Recently, we have been very aware of all the new features of Xiaomi, with a special focus on the Xiaomi Mi6. Yesterday some of the specifications of Xiaomi’s next flagship was filtered in GFXBench and today the specification of the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 were filtered by the Slashleaks portal.
For Mi6, we have collected infinite rumors and possible details that would give shape, but thats not the same with the successor of the Xiaomi Mi Max that came to market last year boasting a body of aluminum and plastic; and had a gigantic 6.44-inch Full HD display. Its features included Snapdragon 650 processor, accompanied by 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, expandable through micro SD cards, as well as a battery of 4,850 mAh.
Now it is the turn to know how these specifications vary in the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 according to the data that can be found in the database of the well-known test bench of GFXBench.
Features of the Xiaomi Mi Max 2
According to the list, the characteristics of the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 (code-named Xiaomi Oxygen) would be headed by a 6.4-inch Full HD screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, that is, very similar to the current Phablet of the company. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a Qualcomm octa-core processor of 2.2GHz Qualcomm (Cortex A53 – ARMv8), along with an GPU Adreno 506. Everything indicates that this chip would be the Snapdragon 660 that has already been associated with some other mobile Xiaomi in the past.
Memory and storage would also grow in the Xiaomi Mi Max 2. The capture shows that the Chinese manufacturer’s smartphone would have a 4 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. In addition the device would hit the market with Android 7.1.1 Nougat as an operating system hosted under MIUI 8.
As for the multimedia section we would find a 12 MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, plus the ability to record videos with 4K resolution, while the front camera would reach 5 MP. The other features speak of the classic WiFi connectivity, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, accelerometer, barometer, digital compass, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, pedometer and proximity sensor.
There is still no date or a guide price for the phablet, but it is more than likely that, like last year, we will know all the official features of the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 in the first weeks of May.
