Today CAPCOM brings us new issues related to Nintendo Switch’s upgraded release of one of its classics of the fighting genre, ‘Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers’. The game was formally announced during the Nintendo Switch presentation held on January 13, 2017.
Online Modes of Ultra Street Fighter II
The official website of ‘Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers’ has been updated with new details related to the different online game modes that will be available.
There will be a classic arcade mode, where the player will face the CPU until the end of the game, with the novelty that any player from anywhere in the world can interrupt your game by offering as an opponent. The normal online mode will be divided between Normal-Game and Game-Rating-Ranked. In qualifying games players can win or lose two types of points, Player Points and Battle Points. You can also play Quick and Custom games, as well as play against friends.
It also indicates that ‘Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers’ will feature an option to simplify commands, assigning complicated actions to a single button. This seems to be the same function we saw in Street Fighter IV for Nintendo 3DS. Of course, there is an option to choose not to appear in games against users who use these command shortcuts.
CAPCOM has already announced that, for the moment, the game will be exclusive to Nintendo Switch as “it would not be easy to take it to other platforms.”
Nintendo Switch will go on sale around the world on March 3, 2017. In Europe it is accompanied by two configurations: a basic, which includes console and gray accessories, while the other, more colorful, is accompanied by controls Joy -With blue and red colors. The great opening game for the platform will be ‘The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’, which will also be available for Wii U.
