Front Loaders in FS 25: How to Use Them Efficiently?

Front loaders are key tools in Farming Simulator 25. They help you do lots of jobs like moving pallets and lifting hay bales.

This guide will show you how to buy, attach, and use front loaders well. We’ll use the pallet fork as our main example.

Front loaders: Does it matter which one I use?

  1. Technically, it doesn’t matter which front loader you use, but there are some considerations:
  2. It’s recommended to match the front loader brand to the brand of the front loader mount on your tractor for compatibility.
  3. Size matters: For a John Deere 7810 tractor, it’s suggested to use a medium Quickie or large Hauer front loader.
  4. Different brands have different connectors, so you need to match them accordingly.
  5. The size of the front loader can affect its compatibility with your tractor. Some loaders might be too short for larger tractors.
  6. When choosing front loader tools, you can use any compatible tool from the front loader tool section.
  7. Consider the weight capacity of the front loader, as this can vary between different models.

In short, while you have some flexibility in choosing a front loader, it’s important to consider brand compatibility, size appropriateness for your tractor, and the specific needs of your farming tasks.

Step 1: Buying the Right Tractor   

Before you can use a front loader, you need a tractor that works with one. Here’s what to do:

  1. Buy a Tractor: Go to the game store and pick a tractor. We’ll use the M8 series tractor as an example.
  2. Make Sure It Can Use a Front Loader: When buying, look for “front loader attacher” on the left side. Make sure it says “Yes”. If you don’t do this, you can’t use front loaders. When it’s right, you’ll see an orange part on the front of the tractor.

Step 2: Getting Front Loader Gear

Now that you have your tractor, it’s time to get the front loader stuff:

  1. Buy a Front Loader: In the store, find the front loader section. We suggest getting the “Quicky” front loader because it works well.
  2. Pick a Tool: Front loaders need a tool to do different jobs. You can choose from:

Step 3: Putting the Front Loader and Tool on Your Tractor

Now let’s put it all together:

  1. Attach the Front Loader: Drive your tractor close to the front loader until you see “Q to attach”—press Q to connect it.
  2. Attach the Pallet Fork: Do the same thing with the pallet fork.

Step 4: Using the Front Loader Controls

Now that everything’s attached, learn how to use the controls:

  • Press G to switch between different parts of the front loader.
  • Right-click to move the loader in and out.
  • Left-click to move it up and down.
  • Use your mouse:

    • Move left or right to change angles

Step 5: Adding Front Loaders to Old Tractors

If you want to add a front loader to a tractor you already have the following:

  1. Find the repair station near the game store. Drive your tractor there.
  2. Press R to see repair and change options. Pick your tractor and add the front loader attacher.
