This guide takes you through the entire Easter egg on the Terminus map in Black Ops 6. It remains simple and straightforward, making it suitable for both solo play and squads.

Preparation

Before starting the map, equip the ASG shotgun. This powerful weapon proves invaluable throughout the Easter egg.

Terminus Map Easter Egg Guide

Step 1: Power Up and Pack-a-Punch

  • Activate Power: Locate and activate all three terminals on the map to turn on the power. Follow on-screen prompts to pull the Pack-a-Punch machine out of the water.
  • Pack-a-Punch Your Shotgun: Pack-a-Punch the ASG shotgun immediately. This serves as your primary weapon for the Easter egg.
  • Equip Dead Wire: Gather 500 Salvage and equip Dead Wire to your shotgun.

Step 2: Obtain the Free Wonder Weapon

  • Activate the Lift: With Dead Wire on your shotgun, activate the lift. Look through the rightmost window while ascending and shoot the visible power box. If you miss, shoot it from the bottom of the platform. Follow the path of the electricity and shoot the subsequent boxes until a door opens.
  • Interact with the Doctor: Go to the lady doctor NPC and shoot her in the face to obtain the EMF fob.
  • Collect Parts for the Wonder Weapon: Obtain the resonator from the growling machine room, take it to the initial spawn room, and place it to proceed to the next step.

Turn on Three Machines:

  • First machine: Next to Quick Revive.
  • Second machine: Outside next to Stam-up, labeled ‘Z’.
  • Third machine: Underneath Elemental Pop near the boat docks.

Activate these machines and collect the sticky notes in the original computer room.

Step 3: Solve the Math Puzzle

  • Pay 5,000 Points to PEC or Solve Manually: PEC can solve the puzzle for 5,000 points. Alternatively, solve it manually using the symbols (X, Y, Z) and the provided math equations based on your game’s unique code.
  • Enter the Code: Calculate and enter the code derived from the math puzzle on the computer to proceed. Successfully entering the code will initiate the next step.

Step 4: Locate and Energize the Islands

  • Follow to Marked Island: Head to the marked island and interact with the tomb holding F. Doing so will spawn zombies.
  • Zap and Kill Zombies: Allow the orb to zap zombies and then kill the zapped zombies. Collect the energy and repeat at the next island.
  • Retrieve the Part: Ensure you collect the dropped parts from each island.

Step 5: Craft the Wonder Weapon (Beam Smasher)

  • Craft the Beam Smasher: Return to the original room and craft the Beam Smasher with the collected parts.
  • First Real Step with the Beam Smasher: Use the Beam Smasher to find a hard drive from the tentacle traps. There are three possible trap locations around Pack-a-Punch.

Step 6: Obtain the Hacking Device

  • Deliver the Hard Drive to PEC: Take the hard drive to PEC, activate his speech, and obtain a three-digit code.
  • Find the Three-Digit Code:
    • First digit: Found by looking at the clock near Quick Revive.
    • Second digit: Locate the playing card in the mess hall.
    • Third digit: Find ‘days since last injury’ near Jug.
  • Enter Pack-a-Punch Room Code: Input the code in the machine and prepare for a boss fight.

Step 7: The Boss Fight

  • Defeat the First Boss (Nathan): Kill the boss and collect the golden key card from the water under each platform.
  • Mini-Lockdown Challenge: Use the key card to open up containers on the ship and survive the zombie waves.

Step 8: Node Connector Locations

Install Nodes: Check the island node location and Speed Cola tunnels. Repair and install the nodes to trigger Sam’s audio quote.

Final Steps: Countdown and Final Boss Fight

  • Prepare for the 5-Minute Countdown: Ensure you have monkey bombs, upgraded weapons, and max armor.
  • Hack the Three Buoys: Use the hacking device on the buoys around the map to trigger the 5-minute countdown.
  • Disarm the Bombs: Disarm three bombs in the main control room within 5 minutes.
  • Final Boss Fight: Ensure you’re fully prepared with ammo, perks, and upgraded weapons.
  • Defeat the Octopus Boss: Watch out for its attacks, target boils, and avoid one-shot kills. Use teamwork to defeat the boss.
