But you can skip this step using the Wonderbar Gobble Gum, which gives you a 50% chance of getting the jet gun from the box.
Even though this is handy, it’s usually better to save the Wonderbar Gobble Gum for harder tasks, since the jet gun quest is pretty easy on this map.
The Valve Step
When playing alone, the valve step in the bowling alley can be really hard because zombies keep coming, and you can’t use your weapon.
The trick is to use The Mangler Cannon. Make sure you have one shot left in the cannon, stand by the water valve, and shoot right at it. As the shot disappears, start turning the valve while holding down the interact button.
Your weapon will stay active, letting you fight off zombies with your upgraded GS45 pistols.
Canister Copying Trick
People who try to finish the game quickly often use a trick to copy the canister, which cuts down the time needed to finish the Easter egg.
To do this, put down the LTG to make an elite appear, weaken the elite, trap it to fill the canister, and go back to the machine in the church. To copy it, press both the drop and interact buttons at the same time.
With practice, you’ll be able to put in one canister while a second one drops, skipping the Strauss counter and filling the second canister step.
