To find the remaining six Lost Encryption Bits in Destiny 2, you’ll need to complete the Cyst Missions. These missions are unlocked through progressing in Micah-10’s quest line in the Old Tower, specifically the “Alone in the Dark” quest. Sword Dance Cyst : About halfway through the mission, you’ll enter a large cave with a platform and a thin bridge. Destroy the crystals with the Hive sword and look for an opening beneath the bridge near the main door to progress. Use the sword to break the Hive muck and uncover the Lost Encryption Bit.Searing Light Cyst : Located at the end of the mission. Before leaving the area, go to a small purple cave off to the side. The Bit is in the shadows of the alcove on the left.Aerial Ace Cyst : Near the end of the mission, in a cave with lava-like pools, head towards the exit. In the dark tunnel after the lava cave, look for a small opening in the cave wall on the right to find the Lost Encryption Bit.Moth-Infested Cavern Cyst : Early in the mission, you’ll reach a room with a Blistered Orge. Kill the orge, drop down beneath the plate it was standing on, and find a small tunnel in the cave. The Bit is on the right side of this alcove.Slayer Cyst : Near the end of the mission, face the rock formation by the pool of light, turn directly behind you, and head into a cave with dark trees. The Bit is behind a tree-like stone pillar.Smothering Darkness Cyst : Complete the mission and go into a cave with a large purple crystal above it. Drop into the ravine and stick to the right to find the Lost Encryption Bit.Legendary Khvostov-7G Once you’ve collected all 15 Lost Encryption Bits, you’ll receive the Lost Encryption Code. Head to the Impasse, then travel west and enter the door near the blocked tunnel. Follow the path until you find the golden chest on a box. Use your Lost Encryption Code to open the chest and obtain the Legendary Destiny 2 gun .
