The Punisher is an American Web series based on famous Marvel comic character the punisher. The web series was created by Steve Lightfoot and launched on Netflix. The first season debut show came on 17th November 2017. The main Hero of the fictional character The Punisher is played by Frank Castle and he uses several means to fight crimes on his own. The web series has won the Best New Media Superhero series award in the year 2018.
The first episode of the second season of the web series launched on 18th February 2019. Thereafter due to some issues between Marvel and Netflix further season has been canceled by Netflix. Due to this the viewers who are waiting for Punisher Season 3 are in the state of chaos.
Now the good news for you is that Disney plus is coming forward to show the series and there is some hope for the third season of the web series to be launched soon.
The cast of Punisher Season 3
The main role of frank castle as the punisher is played by actor Jon Bernthal. He played this role splendidly and it is difficult to think about someone else for this role. We are hoping that in Season 3 Jon Bernthal again plays this role.
We are hoping for the recasting of other actors like Amber Rose Revah, Jason R Moore, Dinah Madani, and Curtis Hoyle as they justified their roles in the web series.
There are chances that other actors like John Stewart as John Pilgrim, Florina Lima as Krista Dumont, Giorgia Whigham as Amy Bendix, Ebon Moss as David Lieberman and Jamie Ray Newman as Sarah Lieberman will return again in these roles.
There is no announcement to date of the same being launched again of Season 3 but we are hoping for the best.

The last episode of Season 2 ends with Russo and business tycoons Eliza Schultz and Anderson. Characters like Hitman Pilgrim, Castle street smart grifter Amy decided to go on their separate ways. On the other hand Russo’s psychotherapist and lover Dumont survived.
In the upcoming Season 3 episodes, there are chances of coming off some of the villain characters like kingpin and more as shown in various The Punisher comics books also. This will add some more excitement in the upcoming Season 3.
