Bordered by Spire Coast and Swamp, the Dune Desert is the best biome for starting a playthrough. It has an abundance of key resources, including iron, limestone, coal, copper, sulfur, and raw quartz.
The terrain is mostly flat, making construction straightforward.
With plentiful biomass and spacious areas for extensive factories, Dune Desert is unmatched in its suitability for all stages of gameplay.
9. Dune Desert Maze
- Starting Suitability: 2/10
- Terrain Conditions: 3/10
- Resource Availability: 6/10
Located within the Dune Desert, the Dune Desert Maze offers resources like coal, limestone, iron, and copper. However, the challenging terrain makes it less appealing than neighboring areas.
While it offers some good resources, players would benefit more from starting in the larger and more accessible Dune Desert.
10. Eastern Dune Forest
- Starting Suitability: 2/10
- Terrain Conditions: 4/10
- Resource Availability: 4/10
Situated between Titan Forest, Coin Crater Forest, and Bamboo Fields, this biome is notable for its nitrogen gas reserves and uranium.
The terrain is generally uneven, making it difficult to build extensive factories.
Although it holds potential for mid to late-game resource generation, it is unsuitable for new players due to its limited supply of basic resources.
11. Grass Fields
