Spider-Man as a superhero character made his debut in Marvel Comics Amazing Fantasy Number 15 in 1962.
Since then, Spider-Man can be seen in multiple Comics, movies, and video games.
Talking about video games, the first-ever Spider-Man video game was released in 1982 for Atari 2600 and Magnavox Odyssey 2.
Now fast forward to 2021, if I count, to date Spider-Man has made appearances on over 15 gaming platforms for 2 dozen games available in the market.
From the very first Xbox, Nintendo, or even PlayStation gaming consoles to the latest consoles, Spider-Man is a game that has been available for most of the popular consoles.
That’s great.
But what about PC?
Well, over the years, there have been many Spider-Man games for PC.
And going forward in this post I will be listing 3 of the best Spiderman games for PC released to date. Let’s get started:
Marvel’s Spider-Man
Back in 2009, when Disney acquired Marvel entertainment in billion dollars everyone believed that they will also go ahead with the purchase of Spider-Man.
However, that didn’t happen.
Instead, Disney landed in a deal with Sony in which Disney can use the Spiderman character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Even though Sony still owns the Spider-Man character, it does not hold any creative power when it comes to movies.
I guess this does not matter to Sony as they are already cashing in on the SpiderMan popularity by releasing Marvel’s Spider-Man in 2018.
Then one year later, Sony once again tapped into the popularity by releasing another title in 2020 as Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales.
In recent times, these two games have completely changed the trajectory of Spider-Man as a gaming character.
Marvel vs. Capcom infinite.
Released on September 19. 2017 Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite is the second game on this list.
This game is the sixth installment in the crossover story between Marvel and Capcom.
When you compare, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite with its predecessor, you won’t find much of a difference.
Do you know WHY?
It’s because the developers had improved this game marginally by adding Infinity Stones into it.
If you have already watched the two marvel movies Avengers: Infinity War & Avengers: Endgame on popular streaming websites then you might already be aware of the amount of power these Universal Elements hold in the marvel comics & movies.
In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there have always been Six Infinity Stones representing power, reality, space, mind, soul, and time.
When it comes to the use of Infinity Stones, these games have relatively different semantics.
When you’re in the game & have discovered an infinity stone, you don’t have to use all of them at once as Thanos did in the Marvel Future Fight.
You must use these stones individually to call out the power stored in them.
What makes this game a must one is its ability to blend storyline and action scenes close to reality.
If you have played the previous versions of a similar spiderman game for PC, no way in the hell I would stop you from playing this game.
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Spider-Man
Initially released for PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Spider-Man was available for PC users on March 7, 2017.
In this game. Spider-Man finally reprised his role as a playable character.
Right after its release, many users started calling this game an enhanced version of Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds.
And as expected, Voice Actor Josh Keaton has hoped in as the voice of Spider-man.
Last time, Spider-Man had a black and green outfit in the video game. Now, this time, it has been replaced by a black and red outfit.
When I first heard about this game, I had got really confused about the in-game characters. However, as soon as I played this game for the first time everything became clear too
The game includes characters from both Capcom games and Marvel Comics.
However, the only difference between the two is that you finally have the chance to make sure there is an actual fight between Spider-Man and his nemesis from Resident Evil.
Spider Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 isn’t just about fighting
It has multiple gaming modes and collectibles, which will make sure everything goes as per the plan when purchasing Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
When going ahead with the purchase, make sure to purchase its Ultimate Edition as it contains more character than you get by default.
