Many people and tech geeks like me are after finding the details of the next generation CPU by AMD. However, after some teasing of the processor at CES 2019, most of the new information is unfolding. As per the latest news, the newly launched processor will support a single PCIe 4.0 interface. In addition to this, the new processor uses the same AM4 chipset. So, it means that even though if you have an AMD Ryzen processor, you can use the latest processor in the motherboard of your PC. Instead of buying a new motherboard.
Finally, AMD has released the line-up of its 3d generation. CPUs along with its CPU that features its mainstream CPU with 12 cores. Moreover, the line-up includes five new processors that range from the price range of $199 to $499. AMD will officially release all five processors on July 7th. The best thing about all this processor is that all of them support the company’s new 7nm (nanometer) zen two architecture. The 12 core Ryzen 9 3900X processor can boost up to 4.6 GHz clock speed.

PRICING AND AVAaILABILITY
At Computex 2019, the CEO of AMD, Lisa Su, revealed essential details about a trio of top-tier chips from the lineup. AMD has decided to celebrate its use of Zen 2 architecture that is based on the 7 nm process. So, all of them will release on July 7.
As for the pricing, The AMD Ryzen 7 3800X will cost $399, the 3700X $329, and the 3900X will cost you $499. However, the only thing that I missed at the event was unveiling of Mid-range Ryzen 3000 CPUs. Besides, AMD has already listed both the 3600 and 3600X on its official website with the price tag of $199 and $249, respectively.
AS per my point of view, The prices finalised by AMD will give high competition to the ninth generation processor released by Intel. However, similar to previous generations, its performance will outshine the processor that is recently added in the line-up of AMD CPU’s.
AMD Ryzen 3000 Specs
For those of you who don’t know Ryzen is a microprocessor designed and marketed by AMD to make sure it works well when used with high loads. Besides, if you are a gamer, then it provides latest and compatible hardware for your gaming PC or laptop. Recently, AMD released two new processors- X370 and X300.
So, if you want to use this chipset, then you have to purchase a new motherboard with Windows OS 8, 8.1 and 10. Moreover, for the same reason, you can get Yes, that means you’ll need a new motherboard (and a more modern OS than Windows 7) for your Ryzen CPU. Luckily, some compatible motherboards are already available in the market. Moreover, most of these supports technologies that are quite similar to the one with Intel’s boards. Let’s find out some of these-
- USB 3.1 Gen 1 and Gen 2
- Dual-channel DDR4 memory
- Capable of PCIe 3.0.
- 2 SATA devices.
What Motherboard Do I Need for AMD Ryzen 3000?
If you are still stuck with the motherboard requirements than you should know that the latest Ryzen 3000 CPU will happily slot into almost every AM4 sockets. So, if already own a PC with ryzen processors then technically you don’t need to buy a new motherboard.
In 2019, AMD is releasing a new chipset for their new Ryzen 3000 CPUs – the X570. It has joined some new top-end chipsets like X470, B350, B320, X370 and X470 with the sole purpose of creating AMD systems that can give high performance.
Moreover, if you are a new owner of Ryzen 3000/ Navi GPU, then there is good news for you. The latest X570 processor is going to support the PCIe 4.0 standard, which makes it an ideal foundation for everyone. So, as compared to PCIe 3.0 motherboards, the increased bandwidth will offer up to 42% faster storage performance.
Within a 1-2 months there will be more than 50 new X570 motherboards will be available for other brands like MSI, Asus, Gigabyte, Colorful, AsRock and, Moreover, to make sure that you get the maximum speed with the new processors, it will also be available for PCIe 4.0 storage devices from Phison, Galaxy and Gigabyte.
On a concluding note, I would say that with the launch of ryzen 3000, AMD stole the entire event of Computex 2019. Now, to regain some momentum in its corner, all Intel needs to do is fight back.
Besides, with the low cost of their processor, CPU sales can go very much in favour of AMD. In fact, sales can go double the CPU sales of Intel. Moreover, it is one of the reasons why the stock of AMD saw a 10% jump in the share market. Stay connected with us for further news updates from Computex 2019.
