When playing the latest Elden Ring DLC, you can expect it to be filled with hard-to-find weapons and objects that test the limits of even the most dedicated players.
Let’s count down the items that are the hardest to find in Elden Ring –
1. Aristocrat Headband
Perhaps you’re tired of your Tarnished wearing the same old headgear and fancy adding some extra mojo to their cranium?
The Aristocrat Headband is what you need. However, it’s not easy for you to acquire it. You’ll need to hunt several noble sorcerers for a slim 0.5% chance of it dropping.
2. Octopus Head
If regal isn’t your thing, how about something bizarre? The Octopus Head helmet looks like the face of a land octopus with all its tentacles.
These creatures can be found along shores and riverbanks, and sometimes, they drop their helmets—but only the smaller ones.
Get ready to fight both small and large creatures.
3. Envoy Great Horn
Have you ever felt jealous of those pale, bulbous creatures with giant trumpets?
Luckily, you have a small chance (2%) of getting their weapon, called the Envoy Great Horn. You can mostly find it in the tough areas of Miquella’s Haligtree.
This trip means walking on shaky ground and fighting hard-to-catch enemies.
4. Ripple Crescent Halberd
For players who want a weapon that uses only the Arcane skill and can hit from far away, the Ripple Crescent Halberd is a good choice.
You can get it from Berari in the early parts of the Lakes area.
However, you’ll need to spend a lot of time hunting for it because it only drops 2 times out of 100. You’ll have to decide if it’s worth all that work to get it.
5. Imp Heads
Do you like those small, tricky creatures that jump out at you in underground caves?
You can get their stone face masks (called Imp Heads) which come in different types – like Fang or Elder.
But they’re hard to get. You only have a tiny chance of finding one – just 1 out of every 200 times you try. You have to hunt for certain imps in certain underground tombs. Be ready for a tough and long search!
6. Halo Scythe and Cleanrot Spear
These weapons, which work well with faith skills and are good for running through areas full of monsters, are called the Halo Scythe and Cleanrot Spear.
The hard part is finding and beating the Cleanrot Knights who use these weapons. They don’t drop these weapons very often, so you’ll have to fight them many times to get what you want.
This means you’ll need to spend a lot of time and effort to get these weapons.
7. Celebrant Trio
The Celebrant Trio includes three weapons: the Cleaver, Sickle, and Rib-Rake.
Each of these helps you get more points (called runes) when you beat enemies, which is great for collecting lots of points. You can use these weapons in the Windmill Village, but they’re very hard to get.
You only have a 1 in 200 chance of getting one when you try. Each weapon has its special features, which makes it worth looking for, even though it’s tough.
8. Noble’s Estoc and Noble’s Slender Sword
The Nobles, even though they’re simple enemies, have two rare weapons: the Estoc and Slender Sword.
These weapons are hard to get – you only have a 1 in 200 chance of getting one when you beat a Noble. They’re good weapons for the first half of the game.
The problem is, because they’re so rare, you might spend so much time trying to get them that by the time you do, you might be close to finishing the game.
This means you might not get to use them for very long before finding better weapons.
9. Magma Blade
If you like to build your character around strength, you’ll really enjoy the Magma Blade. This weapon can release waves of fire when you use it.
However, it’s pretty rare – you only have a 1 in 100 chance of getting one when you defeat an enemy.
To find this weapon, you need to look for specific snake-like enemies called Man Serpents. These are in a dangerous place called Volcano Manor.
Getting this weapon isn’t easy – you’ll face a lot of challenges. But if you manage to get it, it’s a very powerful weapon that’s worth the effort.
10. Black Dumpling
The Black Dumpling is a creepy-looking hood that makes you do more damage when you’re affected by a condition called Madness.
You can get it from special enemies called first-generation Albinaurics. These enemies are found in two dangerous areas: Leyndell and Volcano Manor.
Getting this hood is tough.
You only have a 1 in 200 chance of getting it when you defeat one of these enemies. This makes the Black Dumpling one of the hardest items to find in the whole game.
