Two days ago, On June 4, 2021, CI games (City Interactive) launched the sixth game in the series of their tactical shooter game, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2.
I have a lot to talk about this game but first let’s get back to the year 2008, when the first game of this single player, tactical shooter game got released.
Sniper: Art of Victory
Talking about Sniper: Art of Victory, it sure brings back the memory. Being the first game in the series it holds a different place in the heart of its fans.
The storyline of the Sniper: Art of Victory was based on the Second World War era. The player had to take the role of the sniper in the Red Army (combined force of army and the air force of Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic).
Although there was not much of a storyline in this game, all the work the player had to do is to read the orders before going on a mission. These missions consist of a number of objectives that the player had to complete in order to finish the mission.
Even at that time, Sniper: Art of Victory had great animations, whenever a player hits a head shot, we got to see a Slow-Mo of the bullet hitting the target.
Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts
Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts was the predecessor of Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, so, there is no way that we can get to Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 before talking about Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts.
Released on 22nd November 2019, this game made its way through, without receiving any cogent reviews from the critics. Furthermore, many critics were calling it an improved version than the last one. Well, that is what we all expect from a successor of any game.
Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts did not follow the same open world format as Sniper Ghost Warrior 3. In Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts, there were five huge maps, with twenty five missions. The theme of the game was open ended contract killing.
The story of Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts was based on the time, just after the end of the war between Russia and Mongolia Vs Siberia. As a result of the war, Siberia got its independence.
Now the distress of distribution of the wealth arises, and the autocratical rule of Nergui Kurchatov as the Prime Minister of Siberia starts.
The autocratical rule in Siberia gives arise to many opposition groups, one of them was the Siberian Wolves. The player has to take the role of a sniper from the Siberian Wolves, sent to various assassination missions, killing the major personalities of the Nergui Kurchatov government, and Nergui Kurchatov was the last one on the list.
If you really are a fan of Sniper games you should cheack out Sniper Elite 4.
Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2
Coming as the successor of one of the best selling sniper game franchises, fans had expected a lot from Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2.
Well, I guess after seeing the latest addition to the features, no one would have any thing to complain about. We will come to the features after knowing the storyline of the game.
Story line of Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2
Similar to the Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts, this game is also about the assassination of a dictator.
This time the main character Raven is in Kuamar, Middle East, a region without laws. Bibi Rashida, the President, and her husband Omar Al-Bakr was treating their people as some item to use.
Raven is a contract sniper assassin, he got his missions from someone behind the dark. To take down these two, Raven has to complete Twenty One missions.
