Russia backed India’s decision on scrapping article 370 from Jammu & Kashmir. The motion has done when Pakistan is making hue and cry all over the world regarding the Kashmir issue. Russian govt said that exercise was legal and comes under the framework of the Indian constitution.
In a media session where questions were asked in Kashmir issue. The Russian Foreign Ministry said that “Moscow expects that India and Pakistan will not allow aggravation of the situation in the region due to the change by Delhi in the status of the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Russian Foreign Ministry statement
“We proceed from the fact that the changes associated with the change in the status of the state of Jammu and Kashmir and its division into two union territories are carried out within the framework of the Constitution of the Republic of India.
We hope that the parties involved will not allow a new aggravation of the situation in the region as a result of the decisions.
“Russia is a consistent supporter of the normalization of relations between India and Pakistan.
“We hope that the differences between them will be resolved by political and diplomatic means on a bilateral basis in accordance with the provisions of the Simla Agreement of 1972 and the Lahore Declaration of 1999,”
Current Situation
Tension has sparked between as India decided to scrape out article 370 that gave a special status to Jammu & Kashmir. Later on, the constitution amendment is done to make it actually happen. A new bill divides the state in two separate union territory that is Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh. The bill is already passed in both houses of the Indian Parliament and constitution amendment is already done.
President of India Ram Nath Kovind already gave his nod to the new bill on Jammu Kashmir. The new bill is all about reorganizing the state into a union territory and several other legal aspects of it. The bill after approval of both houses has become a law that provides the formation of Union territory Ladakh with without legislation and Jammu Kashmir without legislation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi address nation over the abrogation of article 370. He states that article 370 was a big hurdle in the development of the state. He also states that it has been 70 years but article 370 doesn’t contribute even a single step in making it stable.
Right now Jammu & Kashmir is 5th most corrupt state, on the other hand, tourism, agriculture, employment the state fails to make any opportunity for these three major revenue generating powerhouses. Prime Minister said that from now onwards the Central Government will take care of the union territory ensuring employment, education and healthcare facilities for all classes of society.
He invites Bollywood and other regional film industries of India to choose Kashmir for their movie shootings. Along with entertainment he invites industrialist from all over India to pick Jammu & Kashmir to generate employment opportunities. A plant name sole as part of Prime Minister’s speech saying that Indian pharmaceutical manufacturer must explore the possibilities.
The herb as per local beliefs it can cure diseases like cancer, HIV and many other incurable disease. The govt employees of Jammu & Kashmir will get their wages on the basis of the 7th pay commission.
