You’ll want to feed this darkened apple to a pig. When you do, the pig will jump around wildly and an anomaly will appear when it dies. Quickly throw a book into this anomaly, called a Spirit Portal, to get the “Origins of Darkness” book.

The Dark Temple and the Environmental Accumulator
The next step is to find a dark temple with an environmental accumulator in the middle. You can make powerful items by using this ancient machine.
Start by creating a weather container by mixing dark gems, a glass bottle, and sugar. Depending on the current weather, you can throw the weather container into the environmental accumulator to charge it with the local weather.
For example, when it’s clear weather and you throw in the weather container, you will get “Only Sunshine”.
You can also make more complex items like “When the Rain Begins to Fall” by charging it during rainy weather. If you want to have an endless source of water, use three dark gems with your rainwater container.
Lightning Grenades and Biome Extracts
One of the coolest items in EvilCraft mod is the Lightning Grenade. Make this by mixing a weather container filled with thunderstorm weather and eight ender pearls.
