    Battle Barge

You should keep a few things in mind before you buy Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 on Steam or your gaming console:

    Story Mode

For many, the story will be the star attraction in Space Marine 2.

The main story of Lieutenant Demetrian Titus takes about 10-12 hours to finish, depending on how good you are at the game and what difficulty you choose.

    Co-op Multiplayer

While there are dedicated multiplayer modes, the campaign will also be playable in three-player co-op.

When questioned about why the lore-accurate four-player co-op isn’t supported, Saber’s Brand and Creative Manager Yann Franois explained to PC Gamer that balancing the game for four players made it too easy.

    No Couch Co-op

Despite the emphasis on co-op play, Space Marine 2 will not offer local couch co-op. You’ll need to link up with other players online for both the campaign co-op and Operations mode.

    Play Offline

As confirmed by Saber, you can play the main story without being connected to the internet.

But if you want to play the extra missions offline, you won’t be able to unlock new stuff as you won’t have access to progression systems.

So, they settled on three players co-op.

    Operations Mode

Besides the main story, there’s a mode called “Operations” where you and two friends (or just you alone) can play extra missions.

These extra missions include a variety of objectives, such as firefights against swarms of enemies and encounters with bosses and mini-bosses.

At launch, Operations will feature six maps and can also be played solo.

    Eternal War
