The action/Adventure video game Elder Scrolls V Skyrim was released in 2011.
Today, It is almost 10 years from the release.

However, only a handful of them makes it to the top.
And obviously, Skyrim is one of them.
It has ruled the hearts of many gamers from all over the world.
That was bound to happen as the game catered to the need of the gamers who were hungry for a game-rich open world with a good story and a graphical Masterpiece with gruesome battle scenes defeating the creatures of an unknown fantasy world.
After a decade of its release, the Elder Scrolls 6 is scheduled to release sometime in the future.
At the moment, the game is under development, and if you can’t keep up with the wait, then you should take a look at some of these popular games like Skyrim that you don’t want to miss out on.

Released on May 18th, 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC, the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is one of the best fantasy RPG games in recent memory.
If you have watched its Netflix series or have already read its novels then you might already what the game has in store for you.
Its story follows a monster Slayer called Geralt of Rivia. In the game, he is tasked with finding Siri – the only heir to the Cintra throne.
However, finding her is not that easy as you would have imagined as he comes face-to-face with multiple monsters, political unrest, and a lot more incidents in his journey.
But don’t worry, while playing the game, you would encounter multiple Runestones to upgrade your armor & weapons. Not just that, if scorched in the right locations, you would easily find some of the best Witcher 3 Runestones to craft.
Still, in the end, it’s up to you how you want to play into this – Get into the world with story-driven quests and hidden areas to explore.
In case, you are not that much into playing RPG games, then initially, you might find the game to be a bit hard.

What I love about Skyrim is that you can finish the in-game journey at your pace and your terms and conditions.
And the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild does not miss this point even by an inch as the action-adventure game takes you on a hell of a ride.
It’s another games like Skyrim where the in-game environment is set in an open world. Here, you’ve all the permissions to complete the necessary tasks.
When you start this game for the 1st time, you’re sent on a mission where you’ve to explore the kingdom of Hyrule as the main character link.
In case you don’t know, the character of the link has woken up after a hundred years of long sleep.
And during that time, he doesn’t know or remember anything that has happened.
So, you begin in this game by helping him regain his memory and ultimately save the
The Kingdom of Hyrule.
Just by the name of this mission, it doesn’t look like you will have an easy time as you move into the game.
That’s true, especially when you have to pass on challenges and quests that you come across right after every little move you make within the game.
However, you can come out of all these situations, all you got to do is use your skills and unique fighting skills.
As you progress into the game, you will find or I should say unlock weapons that link can build over time.
At the same time, you can use links to the cooking pot to mix up multiple ingredients to try experimenting with different options.
Then these secret potions are then used to find hidden secrets all over the kingdom of Hyrule.
I’ve played this game for months, I’ve come to realize something. Its disengaging storyline is probably the reason why this action pack game has won numerous awards.
Fallout 4
Released on November 10, 2015, for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Fallout 4 is the fourth edition in the fallout gaming franchise.
When the very 1st time I was playing this game, it was crashing like hell on my PC. It all came to peace after I found multiple ways to stop Fallout 4 from crashing.
If you are looking for a game that is similar to Skyrim but with a twist then Fallout 4 is the game you should play right away.
The game takes place around the city of Boston and the Massachusetts region known as the Commonwealth.
When you play a fantasy RPG game, you expect some brilliant sword-fighting action scenes. However, this fantasy RPG game is a bit unorthodox as you can use guns and nuclear weapons instead of swords and Magic.
That’s something new. Isn’t it?
With guns and nuclear weapons involved in the fighting, you can expect the game to be a bit on the darker side.
And as far as the game is concerned, it features flying bugs, horrifying ghouls, super mutants.
All in all, the world within Fallout 4 looks like a futuristic time after a nuclear war has taken place.
In this game, you get to choose between two characters – Mother or Father who have flown into the world after nuclear bombs begin to fall one after the other.
Once the nuclear war is over, your character awakens from being cryogenically frozen and goes outside to find their son who has been kidnapped.

The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion
Released in 2006 as an open-world action role-playing video game, the Elder Scroll 4: Oblivion is available exclusively on Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3.
It is a predecessor game of classic Skyrim game in the franchise – The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
In terms of storyline, it’s quite similar to Skyrim. However, the only difference is the outdated graphics and its gameplay
To be honest, when the game was released in 2006, it was considered a revolutionary game.
And going forward in time, its fifth installment lived up to the expectations of gamers all over the world who played the Elder Scrolls 4.
Now, the same is expected from the upcoming sixth installment in the series.
Coming back to the 4th part of the series, here you will have magical abilities. Just like you’ve in Skyrim.
You can use these abilities to put spells on cunning creatures, craft special weapons.
Therefore make it hard for anyone to compare the Elder Scrolls 4 with its successor. That’s probably why I always refrain from making any sort of statements.
Still, the most noticeable difference between the Elder Scroll 4, and its predecessor successor does well in managing the overall simplicity of the game.
Dishonored
Developed by arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks, Dishonored is an action-adventure game released in 2012.
This game is a major stepping stone in the franchise as this game alone was the reason for having a standalone expansion to the series with dishonor to death of the outsider.
The second edition of the gaming series was released in 2017.
Coming back to the first part of the series, it is available to play on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows Xbox One, and Xbox 30 gaming consoles.
Even though today we have Dishonored 2, but to be honest, even that can’t surpass the success the first one had.
In fact, I would say with the release of Dishonored in 2012, the developer outdid themselves in terms of producing a video game which is the biggest achievement any game developer would happily take.
As far as the storyline is concerned, Dishonored Tells the story of Corvo who is a prime suspect in the killing of a high empress and kidnapping her daughter.
After this news broke out, Corvo was sentenced to death by the higher authorities.
However, this was all a ruse to put the blame on him.
To protect him from this punishment, some Rebels joined hands to set Corvo free out and take revenge against the higher power responsible for the assassination of a high empress.
So, in this story, you might see many RPG elements, use of special abilities and as the game progresses, you get to upgrade these abilities for the best of your use.
Now, as far as the future of the gaming series is concerned, at the moment, the Dishonored franchise is put on hold.
So, you never know when the third Edition will be added into the series.
God of War
First time in 2005, the game was released exclusively for PlayStation 2 video gaming console and right away it became a flagship title bearer in the RPG genre.
Ever, since the success of the first part, the developers never went back and delivered back-to-back blockbuster gaming editions in the franchise of four Editions.
Today over 10 editions of God of War have already been released and the upcoming one God of War Ragnarok is all set to release next year in 2022.
Despite multiple reasons to love this game, the first edition is still the only one that made it to the top because of its awesome combat and visual scenes, intriguing storyline, and most important of all Kratos himself.
Even after 15+ years of the official release, I still have a vague memory of playing God of War on my PlayStation 2 and cheering up with my friends.
As far as the storyline is concerned, it follows the journey of a spartan soldier Kratos who has been given the task by Athena to find a Pandora’s Box.
What Pandora Box?
It is the only remaining key that can help Athena in defeating Ares.
As the game progresses, he goes on to the journey to find the hidden Pandora’s Box.
At the same time, we get to see some flashbacks that reveal Kratos as one of the servants of Ares.
Coming back to the game, Kratos goes through multiple hurdles to eventually find Pandora’s box.
Later in a fight with Ares, he uses the same box to kill him once and for all over Mount Olympus to become the next God of War.
