If you’re gonna play hardcore games on it, a Mac PC should never be your choice.

It’s for those, who’re gonna need it for performing graphics intensive tasks.

With the right combination of amazing battery life & groundbreaking performance, there’s isn’t anything you can’t do without it.

As a professional, you can use it to run apps such as:

  • Final Cut Pro
  • Maxon Cinema 4D
  • Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve Studio
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Affinity Photo

Or apps that require allocation of maximum GPU resources.

Now coming back to what I was saying, despite the availability of limited number of games, you should begin with playing 7 games I’ll be sharing with you up next. Let’s get started with this list:

Is it Possible to Play PC Games on Mac?

If the game you’ve purchased supports both platforms, such as Windows and Mac, you can play it on your MacBook without any issue. And if the game is supported on just one platform (Windows), you won’t be able to play it on your MacBook.

However, there’s a you can this off.

Wanna know HOW?

There are very few Mac-friendly simulators that allow you to play Windows games. Still I wouldn’t recommend this to professional gamers as they don’t really support many popular AAA games.

Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley is the result of years of frustration with the Harvest Moon series by first-time developer Eric Barone to make his own version of the farming simulation game. It included beautiful retro-inspired sprites, endearing characters, marriage, combat, and ongoing assistance.

Stardew Valley isn’t simply a farming game as many of you expect it to be. It’s also a role-playing game where you can make in-game friends and level up your character in subjects such as fishing and mining, customizing their professions, unlocking new areas, and exploring a dangerous cave filled with monsters and relics. It’s always feel like you’re playing Animal Crossing.

If you choose to focus your attention on your own property, however, you may completely customize your house and surrounding farm as per your choice. This is also one of the greatest Nintendo Switch games if you’d prefer playing on a console.

Life is Strange 2

The complexities of this game, as the names imply, make it difficult for you to get all the way through it, but I’m confident that its immersive narrative, gameplay, RPG elements & real-life simulation will have a long-term impact on your heart.

The creative conversation system, exploration, and interacting with various folks and things will keep you entertained for a long time, even if the tale lasts for over 34 hours.

That’s because, the tale of Sean and Daniel will leave you in despair, and their difficulties throughout the trip will make you appreciate your life.

Sid Meier’s Civilization VI

Firaxis, the game’s developer, recovered in full force after a somewhat chilly fan response to the prior game in the series — Civilization: Beyond Earth. Civ VI improves on what made Civ V great by adding more complex culture and science trees, more dynamic options, and greater insight into why world leaders act the way they do.

It’s the result of years of development and experience building prior Civilization games, and it shows.

With over a thousand different civilizations to control, Civilization VI has plenty of new blood. They’re each led by a famous historical figure, such as Montezuma for the Aztecs, and with fresh content coming out on a monthly basis, former players have plenty of incentive to return and start a new game.

Rise of the Tomb Raider

It’s difficult to believe that the world’s most graphically demanding game is also available on macOS, given how demanding it is.

The Rise of Tomb Raider is a sequel to Tomb Raider (2013) and the 11th installment in the series. In this game, Lara Croft is heading to Siberia to discover the truth about the elixir of life.

But she is not alone, because Trinity, the military organization, has already begun digging up the mountains in search of the mythical elixir of immortality.

The graphics of Rise of the Tomb Raider are fantastic, and it includes support for DLSS and RTX mode to improve optimization on PC.

Furthermore, the game is highly interesting, and each small progress will left you wondering what to expect next.

Minecraft

There’s no denying that Minecraft is a smash hit since it first became available in 2009. You have complete control over an enormous, twisty world when you begin the game with nothing more than a pair of hands.

Minecraft is both addictive and straightforward, allowing you to do unimaginable tasks including create towering skyscrapers and labyrinthian mine shafts in minutes. Its pixelated, 8-bit visuals might deter some people, but the gameplay is more than enough to keep you satisfied for hours.

Portal 2

Perhaps Portal 2 is the ideal game. It’s a puzzle game at its core, but it adds great portal placement puzzles.

The game is both memorable and challenging PC games on Mac, and those challenges are set up in such a way that you feel accomplished when you’ve completed them. It’s also relevant these days, focused as it is on a conflict between an evil A.I. and a hardworking J-pop star.

Batman: Arkham City

Batman: Arkham City is a re-imagining of the classic 1981 action film Escape from New York: The powers that be have abandoned huge portions of Gotham City and transformed them into a high-security jail for the city’s worst offenders.

For the first time in an Arkham game, you may glide and swing over Gotham’s roofs, which is fitting since this is where Batman truly makes his debut.

Its appeal is not restricted to action, either. Arkham City has been on the market for almost a decade, but there’s never been a better Batman story told in films, games, or print.

Rocket League

Rocket League is surely a well worth game. It’s difficult to describe what causes the game to be so alluring: is it the quick matches, which provide thrills & goosebumps to the winners and possibilities for redemption for the losers? Is it the colorful vehicles, which range from Mario-themed roadsters to Batman’s Batmobile?

Well, there’s nothing conclusive until you start playing this game on your Macbook PC.

Final Words

As I said earlier, there are very few PC games on Mac that you can play in 2021.

Even though I don’t recommend, if you’re still looking to play games on your Mac, I believe the 7 games added in this post, are the BEST of the BEST.

That’s all for now.
