Ranking Worst Town Halls in Clash of Clans

Clash of Clans is a popular mobile game that’s played by millions worldwide. As you progress through different Town Hall levels, you face new challenges and rewards.

However, some Town Halls are more fun than others.

Let’s look at some of the least enjoyable Town Halls in Clash of Clans and why players might find them less exciting.

Town Hall 16: A Dull Experience

Town Hall 16

As the highest current Town Hall, players expect a lot from Town Hall 16. Unfortunately, many find it disappointing.

The new features, like new Pets and defenses, feel like slightly different versions of things that already exist, rather than completely new additions.

Players also don’t like that some buildings still look like they did at Town Hall 15, making the overall look of the base feel unfinished.

Even if some players like certain parts of Town Hall 16, the overall experience feels underwhelming. Many players hope for more exciting content in future updates.

Town Hall 8: Memories vs. Reality

Town Hall 8

While some players have fond memories of Town Hall 8, others find it too similar to Town Hall 7. The only major new defense is the Bomb Tower, which isn’t very exciting. The new Dark Elixir spells and troops are fun, but they don’t change the game much.

Many players end up with too much Elixir because there are more gold upgrades than Elixir ones, which can be frustrating. The mismatched colors at this level can also make the experience less enjoyable and more tiring.

Town Hall 12: Boring Upgrades and Slow Progress

Town Hall 12

Town Hall 12 is often considered one of the most boring and frustrating levels. Despite looking nice, the gameplay isn’t very exciting. The main new features – the Workshop and Giga Tesla – lose their appeal quickly.

The Workshop isn’t very exciting because players have likely been using Siege Machines from their clan mates since Town Hall 10.

The Giga Tesla is a nice change for defense, but it’s not enough to keep things interesting.

Other new troops like the Yeti and Headhunter don’t make a big difference for many players. The biggest downside is the 50 levels of hero upgrades, which can make attacks feel repetitive and progress feel slow.

Town Hall 6: The Real Slowdown

Town Hall 6

Many players see Town Hall 6 as the first real grind in the game. After quickly moving through Town Halls 1-5, progress slows down at this level.

The new features – Air Sweeper, Healer, and Healing Spell – don’t feel very exciting. While useful, they’re not thrilling enough to keep players fully interested.

Also, defenses like the Giant Bomb seem weak, making the whole experience feel less important.

In the early days, when features like the Air Sweeper didn’t exist, it was even more boring. As a result, many players want to rush through Town Hall 6 to get to the more exciting Town Hall 7.

Town Hall 14: Uninspiring Content

Town Hall 14

Town Hall 14 has mixed reviews. Some players don’t mind it, while others find it lacking compared to other levels. The new pets, like the Unicorn, are interesting but become less valuable when better pets are available at higher levels.

The main feature of Town Hall 14, the Battle Builders, is useful but not as exciting as getting new buildings.

The look of Town Hall 14 also gets mixed reactions. Overall, the effort at this level doesn’t feel rewarding enough, leading players to want to rush to Town Hall 15.

Wrap Up

While each Town Hall in Clash of Clans has its rewards and challenges, Town Halls 6, 8, 12, 14, and 16 are often seen as the least enjoyable.

These Town Halls can make players less excited about the game, whether it’s because of boring new features, long grinds, or unappealing looks.

However, every player’s experience differs, and people may have their favorite or least favorite Town Halls.
